“Shaping the World” is an initiative by Innonexus Consortium, and funded by European Union. Being Innonexus the formal name of the project, the Consortium decided to adopt “Shaping the World” as the Brand name of the project, to give a bigger strength to the mission and impact the project aims to accomplish and create.

GOALS

Increase the exchange of good practices among participating Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), which by the end of the project should have been able to produce and deliver a toolkit on how to increase the integration of the social innovation dimension in the academic curricula.

Increase the exchange of good practices between different innovation actors - including HEIs, innovation platforms and digital innovation centres from different countries (moderate and strong innovators/innovation leaders) - which by the end of the project should have been able to produce and deliver relevant information materials, oriented towards capacity building among the innovation actors.

Leverage links and collaborations within that network to carry out at least three types of initiatives (Design Jams, Prototyping Fund, Impact Builder) based on approaches geared towards enhancing the effectiveness of ideation in social innovation, and simultaneously extend the already considerable reach of each partner.

Drawing from the experience of the participating innovation actors and their networks, gather several relevant examples of scalable/replicable business models in social innovation and produce relevant information material that can be used beyond the time horizon of the project.

Build momentum for the creation of a pan-European festival on social innovation and social financing.

Create a pan-European reference festival on social innovation in M23, which can mobilise different actors of the innovation ecosystems and shed a light on the benefits of social innovation projects to society.

Create an open platform on social innovation that also serves as the project's legacy.

Create an impact measurement framework and leverage that tool to measure the impact of the initiatives .

To efficiently communicate, disseminate and exploit the project objectives (SO1 to SO8) and outputs.
