Design Jams

A half day workshop on tools and methodologies to build the first version of your product and make it ready to meet the market for the first time. You will learn from specialists and be able to experiment with students from different backgrounds and schools.

Prototyping Fund

Provides a safe space for students to experiment and test their ideas. The fund will be offered twice a year (in fall and spring). Teams will receive up to 500 euros to prototype and test their idea. They will have to participate to 2 mandatory workshops and a final showcase and will receive light mentorship from the SocialinNOVA DESIS Lab and the Haddad Entrepreneurial Institute. The selection process will be supported by Bron Innovation. So if you have an innovative project on the fields of sustainability or social innovation do not miss this opportunity, apply!

Cultivation Event

As a pan-European festival, throughout the year, network members will host Cultivation Events that extend predetermined social innovation themes focussed around ideation, as an educational breeding ground for socially responsible ideation development. These events will consist of a range of activities, including workshops, exhibitions, webinars, forums and talks and will be promoted under the Shaping the World banner.

PUSH

It aims to enhance the quality of early-stage impact solutions and foster the development of startups, products, and services already existing in this pan-European network. In this joint initiative by Casa do Impacto and Shaping the World by Innonexus there will be space for the development of activities in two different areas: Environmental Impact and Climate Action and Social and Health Impact. 

  • PUSH is a network to empower ambitious entrepreneurs on their first steps for the betterment of society. With PUSH we want to:

    > Build critical mass within the pan-European network;

    > Improve the quality of projects and level them to enter acceleration programs and tools ahead;

    > Create a common language, working process, and platform within the network;

    > Enhance an impact-driven network;

    > Create an asynchronous, wiki, and mentoring-based model.

  • During a 10-day bootcamp, you will:

    > explore and understand social/environmental problems (what, whom, how, and why);

    > Get to know the stakeholders (who & how);

    >Understand how to validate the Problem (Data and deliverables);

    > How to validate your solutions (Prototypes & pilots);

    > Winners of the program will have the chance to participate in exchange and Ecosystem visits within the pan-European network.

Network Open Platform

Online platform with the specific focus of connecting social innovators. This platform allows for members to create profiles and match with each other based on shared interests and needs as well as build teams and focus groups. It facilitates the posting of a range of content including news items, articles, podcasts, videos and live streaming meetings and events for members to engage with, alongside e-learning courses, peer-to-peer and mentors review and targeted, marketing functions.

Shaping
the World Gathering

3-day and night programme brings together the network and wider audiences to explore the spectrum of activity taking place across European social innovation ecosystems with a focus around socially responsible ideation, via an exhibition of findings, conferences, screenings, showcases,masterclasses, workshops and entertainment. The programme will be designed to not only reflect and showcase European developments in social innovation but also to contribute to the perception and position of social innovation culture today.
